Hello friends, allumeurs d'e pinards !

It is a pity ! As you may have noticed, the www.ifyouski.com polls and forums have been temporarily suspended  . It is hoped to re-launch the forum section in the near future :D .

Fortunately the forums and chats are working well here in Cybervalloire, this's great !

As far as we can see in ifyouski internet site, Valloire is mentionned as being "the biggest resort in the Maurienne Valley, sitting between the Trois Vallées and the Italian border". A stay there would probably be very interesting and nice !!! :wah:  :P :D

Nevertheless 150km of skiing seems not being too big enough ! :grr:

Many of my friends are beginners (I mean for ski practices) :mmdr: ;) ; Is Valloire adequate for them ? :mmdr:

Valmeinier seems very nice too ! :grr:

One of problem is that it is mentionned in ifyouski.com that there is sometimes a lack of English-speaking instructors in Valloire :grr: :grr:  and that if beginners and intermediates should benefit from this resort, it seems that there is not a great selection for more advanced skiers. :grr:

Well if the resort itself has largely maintained its traditional and rustic charm and if it is also reasonably priced and friendly, it should be fine ! ;) :( :grr: :grr:

Regards :grr: :grr: :D :D :D

Hello upwithleak

As you probably noticed, i moved your post because it was not in the appropriate forum :mmdr: Now it's got its real place

To answer your numerous questions, i would say that :

Valloire is the best resort you can find if you want to learn ski. A lot of easy slopes (green, blue) are high and have a lot of snow. There are easy slopes to come back to the resort even if you don't have a good level at ski. If you are too tired to use these slopes to get down the mountain, you can use the carrier.

A lot of efforts have been made by the skis schools, especially the ESI (Ecole de Ski Internationale / International Ski School) to teach english learning people. It's a pity that people keep on thinking that ! That was right years ago !!

150 Km of slopes. That's not the biggest skiing domain in the Alps, but that's not waht you look for when you come to valloire. You look for a charming village that kept it's typical architecture, with warm welcoming people and a family ambiance.

150 Km is enough to have fun and if you search accurately in our website you will find a lot of off-piste spots

Valmeinier and Valloire have the same ski domain. Valmeinier is actually a good place, even if you don't have the same village felling.

Valloire remains a reasonably priced resort and a very friendly place. So come to visit us, you will come once and never get back home ! ;)

Valloire Valloire Valloire  :mmdr: ;)

Valloire is the place to be.

Great skiarea and wonderful village with it's people.

I can tell you once you came to Valloire you will always return to this magical place. Even when 3 Vallées has 600 km slopes. Tignes has 300 km slopes.

Valloire has 150km and they are all beautiful. There are a lot of people working night and day to prepare the slopes the best they can.

Valloire RESPECT

other things to say about valloire is the beautiful landscape you can see around the resort, and the way you can take to come to the resort. the highway come at about 20 kilometers from the resort and you just have to go up in the resort.

fred tu peux corriger ou developper si tu veux
